Refund Policy

Everything in the Woodshop is made to order by Granary Digital Ltd at The Old Grain Store, Adsdean, Chichester, West Sussex PO18 9DN. Nothing is held in stock, so this policy explains exactly where you stand before, during and after a build.

Changing your mind before we start cutting

Email james@granary.digital or call 01243 884993. If we have not started cutting your order, we cancel it and refund you in full, to the original payment method, within five working days.

Consumer orders: your 14-day right to cancel

If you are buying as a consumer rather than for a business, you may cancel within 14 days of receiving your order and return it for a refund. The piece must come back in the condition it arrived in and in its original packaging. Tell us first so we can confirm the return address and, for anything large, arrange the right transport.

Return carriage is yours to arrange and pay for unless the piece is faulty or we sent the wrong thing. Our pieces are heavy, sprayed and built for the camera, so please pack them as they arrived; we can only refund in full what comes back undamaged.

This right does not apply to pieces built to your own specification or clearly personalised: a non-standard size, your brand colour, a printed or applied graphic, a vinyl wrap, artwork, or a bespoke commission. That is the law on made-to-measure goods, and it is why we confirm the specification in writing before we start.

Trade and business orders

Business orders are not covered by the consumer cancellation right. We will still take back a standard, unused, undamaged piece by agreement within 14 days of delivery, subject to a restocking charge of 20% to cover the build, and to you paying return carriage. Bespoke builds are non-returnable once cutting has started.

Bespoke work in progress

If you cancel a bespoke build after we have started, we charge for the materials bought and the work done up to that point and refund the rest. We will always show you the figure before we take it.

Faulty, damaged or not what you ordered

Inspect your delivery when it arrives. If anything is damaged in transit, faulty, or not what you ordered, tell us within 48 hours with a photograph and we will repair it, replace it or refund it, whichever you prefer, at our cost. Nothing here affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the 30-day right to reject faulty goods.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with, within 14 days of us receiving the returned piece or agreeing the cancellation. Original delivery charges are refunded on a full cancellation; they are not refunded where you keep part of an order.
