Made to order near Chichester
Set pieces built for camera, not for a warehouse.
Flats, plinths, apple boxes, lecterns, desks and whole set kits. Cut, framed and sprayed by our studio carpenter in a 16th-century barn, delivered across the UK in about ten working days. Prices include VAT, with the ex-VAT trade price shown too.
- Finished for close-up
Filled, sanded and 2K-sprayed, so an edge holds up at 200mm — not just from the back of the room.
- Lights the way you want
Matt finishes and the brand greens, mixed to stay flat under key light instead of blowing out.
- Built to the studio's own standard
The same braced frame we build Granary Digital's sets from — stiles, toggles and a corner sway-brace.
- Repeatable across a series
Order the same flat in episode six and it stacks, rigs and reads exactly like the first one.
Tell us what you're building. We've already worked out the kit.

The workshop
Made by hand, by the studio's own carpenter.
Every piece here is cut, built and finished by Mark at The Old Grainstore, the 16th-century barn near Chichester that is also Granary Digital's studio. Nothing is warehoused or drop-shipped. It's made to order, to the standard we build our own sets to.
Hire or buy?
Buying beats hiring by the third shoot.
A hired flat costs the same every week. An owned one is paid for after two or three jobs, stacks in your unit, and is always the size you framed for. If you shoot regularly, the sums are short.
